It takes about 2 hours driving to Giethoorn. On our way we will pass the in the 1970´s reclaimed land and drive 6 meters under sea level. Arriving at Giethoorn we will have a boat tour. The boat is covered, if you like to you can buy snacks. The local guide will
tell about Giethoorn while sailing through the small canals and over a lake.
The boat takes us back to the parking place. We will start a walking tour discovering Giethoorn on foot. There will be time to make a stop at a restaurant, to have lunch, to visit a gift shop, or to visit the museum, showing the local history. Then the car will take you home, toyour hotel in Amsterdam.
